VANCOUVER

Hi! I'm back in Germany after 4 weeks in Vancouver and I really have to say; I've never been to such a great town!
Vancouver is situated in beautiful British Columbia in Canada and did you know that it is called the second Hollywood? British Columbia held the ranking of third largest production centre for film and television in North America, after Los Angeles and New York City. This is clearly noticeable! For example; Walking through the streets of Vancouver, I came to a locked side street with police cars and minibuses. A sign said: "Film Shooting". It's absolutely understandable that Vancouver is a great place to film. 
I love to have all the different feelings in a comparatively small city. Relaxing at the beach or at a festival, you feel like if you were in California. While you are shopping Downtown, the streets remind you of New York City and after a 15 minute walk from there, you are in the middle of beautiful nature and incredible trees in Stanley Park and can enjoy the stunning view of the huge mountains. No words in the world could describe the great feeling in Vancouver and the people you meet there. Even after 1 month, I still have to visit so many things and discover different places... I really recommend you to visit this city! I have such a positive feeling towards other people and my own world after some weeks in Vancouver and New Westminster, the sweet suburban I lived during my stay. 
Even New York didn't inspired me as much as Vancouver did. Traveling is one of the most beautiful things we can do and if you are able to do it, you should really go to Vancouver!

Hi! Da bin ich wieder in Deutschland, nach 4 Wochen in Vancouver. Als erstes muss ich sagen: Ich war noch nie in einer so großartigen Stadt!

Vancouver befindet sich im wunderschönen British Columbia in Kanada und wusstet ihr, dass es das zweite Hollywood genannt wird? British Columbia ist auf der Liste der größten Produktions Centren für Filme und Fernseher in Nord Amerika auf Platz 3, nach Los Angeles und New York City. Das ist klar bemerkbar! Ein Beispiel; Während ich durch die Straßen von Vancouver lief, kam ich zu einer abgesperrten Seitenstraße mit Polizeiautos und Minibussen. Davor ein Schild auf dem stand: „Dreharbeiten“. Es ist absolut verständlich, dass Vancouver ein toller Platz zum filmen ist.

Ich liebe es, all diese unterschiedlichen Gefühle in einer vergleichsweisen kleinen Stadt zu spüren. Am Strand hat man das Gefühl man wäre in Kalifornien, beim Schoppen als wäre man in New York City und nur 15 Minuten von der Stadtmitte entfernt, kann man wunderschöne Natur und Bäume im Stanley Park mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die riesengroßen Berge genießen. Keine Worte dieser Welt könnten das tolle Gefühl in Vancouver und die Menschen, die man dort trifft, beschreiben.

Sogar nach einem Monat gibt es immer noch so viele Dinge die ich entdecken will... Ich kann euch nur ans Herz legen in diese Stadt zu fahren/fliegen! Ich habe so ein positives Gefühl im Bezug auf andere Menschen und meine eigene Welt in Vancouver und New Westminster, die süße Vorstadt in der ich gewohnt habe, gewonnen.

Nicht einmal New York hat mich so sehr inspiriert wie Vancouver. Reisen ist eines der schönsten Dinge, die wir tun können und wenn ihr die Möglichkeit habt, zu reisen, solltet ihr wirklich mindestens einmal nach Vancouver!

Hier sind ein paar Bilder, die ich geschossen habe. Ich hoffe sie können das tolle Gefühl, welches ich in dem schönen British Columbia erfahren durfte, wenigstens ein bisschen übermitteln.

Summer Vibe

A couple of days ago one of my closest friends and I went into the old town and spontaneously took a couple of photos. The weather was kind of weird because the sky was very cloudy plus it was very hot & humid and then it actually started to rain. The two of us did not really mind though and welcomed the little refreshing rain with a rain dance. We just started to dance in the middle of the street and didn't care what other people thought of us. Definitely one of my favorite summer moments this year

Vor ein paar Tagen habe Ich mit einer meiner besten Freunde spontan Fotos in der Altstadt gemacht. Das Wetter an diesem Tag war irgendwie komisch, der Himmel war so bewölkt und zudem war es noch richtig heiß und schwül bis es dann auch letztendlich angefangen hat zu regnen. Uns beide hat es aber nicht wirklich gestört, also haben wir  angefangen im Regen zu tanzen. Einfach auf der Straße und es war uns egal was die herumlaufenden Menschen von uns dachten. Definitiv eine meiner liebsten Sommer Erinnerungen dieses Jahr.

Start Of Summer

I was on a small flea market last weekend where I got a jeans jacket from Levi's. Unfortunately the sleeves were wayyy to large so I searched for a DIY video on YouTube to turn my new jacket into a vest. So, here is the result. Hope you like it!

Letzte Woche war ich auf einem kleinen Flohmarkt hier in meiner Stadt. Dort habe ich eine Levi's Jeansjacke gefunden, die aber leider viel zu große Ärmel hatte. Um die Jacke aber trotzdem tragen zu können, habe ich nach einem Video auf YouTube gesucht, in dem beschrieben wird, wie man aus einer Jacke eine Weste macht. Hier seht ihr das Ergebnis. Ich hoffe es gefällt euch!

Because of the cold and strong wind I'm wearing my beloved and useful cap. My best purchase ever. Moreover this cap makes every outfit look casual, cool and relaxed, it makes me feel very comfortable.

Wegen dem kalten, starken Wind trage ich meine geliebte und praktische Kappe. Diese Kappe war definitiv einer meiner besten Käufe. Sie lässt jedes Outfit lässig und relaxed aussehen. Ich fühle mich einfach super wohl in ihr.

The weather might make it seem as if it was warm , but it wasn't. Actually I had to wear another jacket. I went for my leather jacket because I think jeans and leather fit perfectly together.

Vielleicht sieht es auf den Bildern so aus, als wäre es warm gewesen. War es aber nicht. Eigentlich musste ich sogar noch eine Jacke tragen. Ich habe mich für eine Lederjacke entschieden, da ich finde das Jeans und Leder perfekt zusammen passen.

Yesterday was the meteorological start of summer. Well, I don't really noticed that due to the temperatures, but at least the sun was shining.

Gestern war der meteorologische Sommerstart. Davon habe ich zwar aufgrund der Temperatur nicht viel gemerkt, aber wenigstens schien die Sonne.

Dubai- The land of gold

I had the pleasure to enjoy the sun for one week since I spend my spring break in Dubai. I was so so happy to stock up on sun since winter still not has left Germany and it's still freezing cold outside here.

Most of the time I spend my day sunbathing on sandy white turquoise beaches on the Persian Gulf and just enjoyed life. Dubai has a breathtaking skyline and with all its buildings having various architectural styles it is one of a kind. I've never seen so many malls , not surprising that the worlds largest shopping mall is located in Dubai, eh? But besides that Dubai also offers desert. We went on a Jeep safari which was awesome and then we had a delicious Lebanese ( Arabic cuisine) dinner under the stars of the desert afterwards. ( Honestly Lebanese Food might be one of my favorite cuisines.)

Here I'm wearing on of my favorite summer vacation outfits. So comfortable but still not under dressed. I'm wearing my absolutely favorite Forever 21 turquoise Maxi Skirt that goes well with pretty much everything. I combined it with a Lace Shirt and Brown Sandals from Aldo. Maxi Skirts are my new favorite piece of clothing, can't get enough of them.
